RAINBOW TROUT SCOUTS

The Rainbow Trout Scouts is not your typical troop, teaching girls how to get ahead in life even if that means becoming the bully. I wanted to convey this macabre, heartwarming story of little girls gossiping but also taking care of each other in a slightly disorienting, maximalist calendar illustrating their badges and dirty ways. As confusing as their morals may seem, the bright colors and flat illustration gives off the impression that they’re good natured and upbeat until you look a little closer.
